Kia has revealed the 2011 Kia Optima / Kia Magentis ahead of a reveal at the New York Motor Show in April
You might reasonably expect that Kia are teasing the 2011 Kia Magentis (or Kia Optima, as it is in the US) ahead of a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show. After all, every other car maker is at it at the moment. But Kia are teasing this ahead of the next big motor show after Geneva – the 2010 New York Motor Show – which isn’t until April.
Detroit Electric is going ahead with production of its Lotus-based sports car in the lovely Detroit suburb of…Holland. Unfortunately it's not the coastal city in the western part of Michigan, but the one in northern Europe. The facility will begin production in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Detroit News.
The Peugeot Onyx Concept – a hybrid supercar concept – is heading for Paris 2012 and we now have more details. On Monday, we got the first news of the Peugeot Onyx Supercar concept that is heading for the 2012 Paris Motor show and designed to show that Peugeot are a long way from down and out. The first news of the Onyx was a teaser photo of it in Peugeot’s Facebook page, but a bit of digging a round on French cars sites yielded some additional information – and the Onyx name – and we subsequently updated that story with more photos of the Onyx.
